95-97, NORTH HIGH STREET
This building, originally a house and later premises for a printing business, had suffered from unfortunate alterations in the past, including installation of the wrong type of windows. It has been returned to residential use. Its exterior and interior have been sensitively restored and its appearance transformed for the better by the installation of the correct 6 pane over 6 pane sash and case type of windows, which it must have possessed when originally designed and built in the Georgian era. Also, its exterior colour scheme has been greatly improved.
